Posted over 2 years ago in Student SupportWellbeing.

KSU Families - You are invited to attend this virtual program along with your student on Monday, 10/11 from 7-8:30pm.

Please join Student Advocacy, in partnership with the KSU Women of Color Success Initiative, Counseling & Psychological Services, and the Office of Victim Services for a collaborative panel discussion about domestic violence.

This virtual panel features the personal story of Kimberly S. Garrett, Esq., a friend, mother, attorney, and domestic abuse survivor. Dr. Alesha Harris (Counseling and Psychological Services), and Jessica Aguirre (Office of Victim Services) will also serve on the panel to provide perspectives based on their experiences with supporting victims, and resources for continued care and support for survivors.

Additionally, I've attached a PDF of all the activities for Domestic Violence Awareness Month as well as the specific PDF for this event.

Please encourage students to RSVP here: https://owllife.kennesaw.edu/event/7167741
