Summer is just around the corner! Here are a few things for you and your student to keep in mind before the semester’s end.


Textbook Buybacks and Rental Returns

The KSU Bookstore buys back textbooks all year long, but our spring book buyback week runs from Tuesday, May 2 to Monday, May 8. Your student can look up how much their textbooks are worth here: https://bookstore.kennesaw.edu/Buyback

All textbook rentals are due by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9. If textbook rentals are not returned by then, the credit card associated with the signed rental agreement will be charged.

Don’t Let Meal Plans Go to Waste

The last day to use Meal Plan swipes and Dining Dollars is Monday, May 8. Dining Dollars may be used at any eatery on campus, and your student can pre-pay using Dining Dollars when they order food for pick up through the Grubhub app. Dining Dollars and Meal Plan swipes do not roll over to the summer or fall; please encourage your student to use these before the deadline.


Spring 2023 Commencement Ceremonies

Rather than an ending, commencement (both the word and the ceremony) symbolizes a new beginning for your student. It is only fitting that an occasion marking the start of a new phase of life should be celebrated with grandeur, formality, and tradition.

Come celebrate this year’s graduating Seniors with us at the 2023 Commencement Ceremonies!

Your student should have RSVP'd before April 14 to receive four tickets. Two additional tickets may be purchased here. If they have not already, please encourage your graduating seniors to purchase their cap and gown from the KSU Bookstore. For more information, visit the Commencement website.
