Kennesaw State University's Fall 2023 Commencement ceremonies will be held on Tuesday, December 12, Wednesday, December 13, and Thursday, December 14, in the Convocation Center on the Kennesaw Campus. KSU students must submit a request, or petition, to graduate, which will initiate an audit process with the Office of the Registrar to see if they have satisfied all their requirements. Only students who petition by the deadline will be uploaded into the commencement attendance portal. Students may log into their Owl Express Account, select the graduation tab and then select petition to graduate. There is a $50 petition to graduate fee and $15 certificate fee which covers an audit of their academic records to determine degree completion. 

Please note the upcoming important dates and deadlines:

• The deadline for students to petition to graduate for Fall 2023 is August 22, 2023. LINK TO GRADUATION PETITION (Share this link with your student and they will log in with their KSU credentials to access the form).
• The Commencement Attendance Portal (MarchingOrder) will open on September 25, 2023, and close on November 17, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Only students who petition to graduate by August 22 will be uploaded into the portal. Students MUST sign and RSVP to participate in Commencement and to be eligible for guest tickets.
• Students who submit their RSVP in Marching Order by November 17, at 11:59pm will receive four (4) commencement guest tickets. The tickets will be sent electronically on Wednesday, November 22, at 10 a.m. to the student's KSU email account.
• Students can purchase up to two (2) additional tickets starting Tuesday, November 28, on our KSU Ticketing Website.
