Details on the First-Year Housing Application Timeline
As your student embarks on their KSU journey, we're thrilled to share that the Housing Application for First-Year students opens on December 1, 2023, at 10 a.m. If they’re interested in living on campus, they should apply as soon as possible to increase their chances of securing housing.
Here’s the upcoming schedule your student can add to their calendar:
- Step 1 opens December 1 – Encourage your student to complete the application, filling out the required fields and submitting. While the $200 nonrefundable Application Initiation Fee is not needed to finish the application, it must be paid to proceed to Step 2 and 3.
- Step 2 (Roommate Selection) begins March 18 – Once they pay the Application Initiation Fee, they can begin the process of selecting a roommate.
- Step 3 (Room Selection) begins April 15 – They can begin the process of selecting a room.
