Does your student want to live on campus? The Upper Class Housing Application is comprised of two steps, which are both required for your student to reserve their room on campus.
What type of Upper Class student are they?
Renewing: Students who are able to renew their current room assignment for another year
Returning: Students who are returning to live on campus but are not able to renew their same room
New Upper Class: Students who have never lived on campus
Transfer: Students who are coming to Kennesaw State University from another institution
Keeping in mind where they stand as a student interested in on-campus housing can help streamline the Housing Application process.
To be eligible to apply for on-campus housing, students must simply be admitted to Kennesaw State University.
If your student is interested, we recommend saving the dates below so your student is prepared to complete each step of the application as soon as it opens. Upper Class Housing is limited, so it is important to complete it as soon as possible!
Here’s the full schedule broken down:
- Step 1 opens January 22, 2024 – Encourage your student to complete the application, filling out the required fields and submitting. Their time ticket for Step 2 depends on the date and time they complete the initial application.
- Step 2 (Room Selection) begins February 26, 2024.

I signed up for the upper class housing, because I did not see anything pertaining to First year students, when will that be available?
Can a current first year student living in KSU Suites or first year housing renew their current/same room for fall 2024 as a Sophomore, or do they have to leave their current room and move into sophomore or upper class house?
My son just moved into on-campus housing. Any suggestions on where we can post information to find someone to sub lease his off campus apartment through July?
When will applications for first year students become available? My son just started this Spring and is still on the waitlist for on campus housing.
