Kennesaw State University's CARE Services (Campus Awareness, Resource & Empowerment Services) is a dedicated program designed to support students who are facing severe challenges such as housing insecurity, food insecurity, and other emergency financial/life crises. The primary mission of CARE Services is to provide comprehensive support that enables students to not only persist in their studies but also thrive personally and academically.

One of the essential services provided by CARE Services is emergency housing, which offers temporary accommodations for students who find themselves without a stable place to live. This service ensures that students have a safe and secure environment, freeing them from the immediate concern of homelessness and allowing them to focus on their academic and personal growth.

Beyond addressing housing needs, CARE Services operates a campus pantry that supplies students with essential food and hygiene items. The pantry is stocked with non-perishable foods, fresh produce, and personal care products, all available to support students in need. This resource is crucial for combating food insecurity, ensuring that students have access to nutritious meals necessary for a healthy lifestyle and successful academic performance.

CARE Services also provides connections to a range of community services. This includes referrals to local shelters, financial assistance programs, health care services, counseling, and other support networks.
