Dual Enrollment Parents and Supporters,
Do you have questions about tuition for the Spring 2025 semester at Kennesaw State University? Here are some of the most commonly asked questions about funding for the Dual Enrollment Program at KSU.
When will Dual Enrollment funding for the semester show on my student's account?
The Dual Enrollment program is finalizing and approving funding applications students have completed through their GAfutures account. We will begin sharing completed funding applications with the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid during the first week of the semester.
The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid will work to authorize the Dual Enrollment funds (tuition) on your student's course schedule during the week of Drop/Add. It is common for tuition to be posted on or shortly before the final payment deadline. For spring-specific dates and deadlines, please visit the Spring 2025 Academic Calendar.
Until funds are added to your student's account, they will continue to receive communication from the Office of the Bursar, including information about payment deadlines and the Nelnet payment plan. You will see "Estimated Financial Aid" and "Estimated Balance Due" when you check their account. All students with a schedule receive these types of communication, which is not a cause for alarm.
Reminders:
- Course changes made during the week of Drop/Add may delay funding approval and application to your student's account before the payment deadline.
- A late fee (nonrefundable) from the Office of the Bursar will be added to your student's account if their funding application is complete after the payment deadline. This could result from not submitting the funding application through GAfutures or late changes in the course schedule.
What does my student owe for the semester?
Before the payment deadline, you will want to make sure payments have been made for the following items:
- Parking (optional if taking all online classes)
- Non-funded/self-pay courses
- Meal plan (optional)
- Course lab fees
*Not all fees listed above apply to Dual Enrollment students each semester.
When is the payment deadline?
Payment deadlines are on the Office of the Registrar's Academic Calendar.
How do we pay?
You must pay any balance Dual Enrollment funding does not cover (parking, self-pay courses, course lab fees, and meal plan) before the payment deadline at 4 p.m. on your student's account at epay.kennesaw.edu. If you need assistance with payment, contact the Office of the Bursar at bursars@kennesaw.edu.
If you have additional questions, contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at depoffice@kennesaw.edu or 470-578-6500.
Sincerely,
Dual Enrollment Program
