Winter break is here! Before your student heads home for the break, remind them to complete and sign their Cold Weather Checklist! It’s quick, easy and helps protect their room from winter mishaps.*

Here are a few important things they must cross off their “to-do” list before they leave!

1. Set their thermostat to 68 degrees on HEAT mode with the fan mode set to "AUTO.”
2. Clean their fridge and throw away any food.
3. Take their trash to a dumpster location near their building.
4. Leave their washing machine lid open, if applicable.
5. Lock their bedroom doors and windows and take their bedroom key with them, if applicable.
6. Submit a maintenance request for any issues in their room before they leave.

Note: Your student DOES NOT need to move out of their room for winter break!
*Failure to complete the checklist will result in fines for any resulting damage.
