Celebrate spring and visual arts with us at our FREE, family-friendly festival!
Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Spring Arts Festival at Kennesaw State University is an annual community event near metro Atlanta offering the chance for art lovers of all ages to partake in visual and performing arts activities.
We will have several faculty members conducting a variety of artistic workshops and demonstrations giving art lovers the chance to engage in various visual arts activities. The sessions include soft sculpture owl plushies, quick set resin art, comics, painting, phenakistoscope workshop, concept art, magnetic Picasso creation and more!
Prospective students are invited to bring their entrance portfolios and have it reviewed by our faculty members while at the festival! This opportunity is especially helpful for students planning to submit their entrance portfolio for acceptance into the School of Art and Design.
The festival will also feature an Artist’s Market with over 50 current and former School of Art and Design students who will be showcasing and selling their art. There will be a juried Art Show for local K-12 schools. We will also have several guest artists including a blacksmith and a glass blower and Zama Mexican Cuisine will be here with a food truck. The day is sure to offer something for everyone!
